Patrick Crumplin is a director in the Disputes Consulting practice, based in the London office. He has over 20 years of experience in forensic accounting, litigation support and investigations and has worked on and led projects across a range of different industries in the UK, the U.S., the Cayman Islands, Switzerland, Italy, Ireland, Saudi Arabia and Brunei.

Patrick joined Duff & Phelps with the acquisition of Kinetic Partners in January 2015. Prior to this, he was a director in the London office of FTI Consulting. Patrick qualified as an accountant in 2002 while working within the forensic department of a Big Four firm in London.

At Kinetic Partners, Patrick focused primarily on clients in the financial services sector, developing a deep knowledge of the industry including, in particular, the alternative asset management and offshore funds industry. A particular feature of Patrick’s work throughout his career has been data analytics, including the analysis of large volume transactional data extracted from accounting and other business systems.

Patrick earned an MSc in investigative psychology from Liverpool University. He is a Fellow of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants.
